Our main aim is to provide both parties with a positive buying experience
We guarantee all our hatchlings are honestly represented, healthy, free of parasites and feeding well on frozen-thawed rodents. All of our hatchlings come with complete feeding, shedding and defecating records, 9L really useful box setup and a care sheet. We will always be happy to answer any questions you may have about the animal you are interested in before or after purchase. We will provide life time support and advice to all our customers.
We strongly recommend new customers to visit us and the animals' in person before committing to a purchase if this is possible, you will also get to meet the other species we keep as well as the parents of the hatchling you are interested in purchasing.
We will make it fully clear if the animal you are interested in has shown any previous health problems but we will never knowingly sell a animal that isn't 100% healthy, some animals' maybe slow growers or starters but this does not make them "ill" or "deformed" in any way because most snakes end up the same size once adults.
We set our prices on the appearance of the individual hatchling, bloodlines and the market forces of supply and demand for individual species/morphs. Most of the time all babies from the same clutch will be the same price. Prices are subject to change.
Reserving and making a deposit
Deposits will only be accepted once the hatchlings have hatched and appear healthy, We will update the available page on the website when we are accepting deposits for individual animals.
A deposit of 10% of the value of the animal you are wanting to reserve will be required to reserve that individual for you, deposits and subsequent payments are non-refundable unless we are unable to provide you with the healthy, feeding individual you reserved, a replacement maybe offered if possible.
We work on a first come, first served list and will only hold an animal without payment for 7 days, if a deposit or payment isn't received within that time you will lose your place on the list, unless agreed otherwise. Deposits can be made via cash, postal order or Paypal.
Selecting your hatchling
This will be done by a first come, first served list so the customers who contacted us first will select which individual they want first, after we have chosen our hold backs. You will be able to select the hatchling of your choice after the first shed. The hatchlings will be represented by high quality pictures or you are more than welcome to come and visit us to pick the hatchling of your choice in person. We'll be more than happy to make suggestions if you are unsure of which animal to pick.
Hatchlings normally take around 8-12 weeks to establish, we want the hatchlings to have at least 6 meals, at least two sheds and at least defecated once with us before we let them go to their new homes. Full payment is expected before the animal is couriered or collected unless full payment is on collection or other agreements have been made.
Sexing policy
We will probe and, or pop our hatchlings to determine the sex to the best of our knowledge. However both of these methods are not 100% accurate, therefore if the animal is incorrectly sexed we will offer a replacement where possible.
Collection or Courier
We strongly recommend animals' are collected from ourselves in person, where you are welcome to see the animals' parents, setups as well as our other snakes. However, we do understand that this sometimes cannot be possible so we are happy to use a DEFRA registered reptile courier which we can arrange or you can but the reptile courier must be paid for by you, full payment is expected before your animal is couriered to you. You can also collect any animals' from us if we are attending any shows which will be posted on the news page.
Disclaimer
We cannot accept any responsibly for things beyond our control, this includes adult temperament, appearance, the sex of any un-probed animal, the breeding ability of any animal or future health issues beyond a live and healthy arrival, however we offer full life time advice and support.
Payments and payment plans
Deposits and subsequent payments can be made by cash, postal order or Paypal. It is easy and simple to setup a Paypal account, simply go to http://www.paypal.co.uk/ and follow the simple instructions to setup an account.
Payment plans are offered at our discretion to suit your financial situation but normally we expect the payment to be paid in full within 3-4 months but exceptions can be made within reason, so please contact us to talk more about payment plans. Full payments can be sent for established hatchlings.
Full payment must be made before an animal is couriered or collected unless it is cash on collection. If you are paying by postal order then the postal order must be cleared before we let the animal go, if you are paying by Paypal you can either send the payment by "gift" or cover the fees yourself.
Full payment is expected once your animal is ready to be couriered or collected unless other agreements have been made because it takes around 8-12 weeks to get the hatchling established then this shouldn't be a problem. Do not leave it until the hatchling is ready to begin talking about possible payment plans unless agreed beforehand.
Customers who fail to respond within 14 days of us contacting them to let them know their animal is ready will lose their deposit, any other payments made and their place on the reservation list. We will make five attempts to get in touch with you via email and/or telephone before your 14 days are up. It's your responsibility to let us know about any email or phone number changes. In special circumstances we may allow a delay on payments but these special circumstances depend on individual circumstances.
Health claims
With any health issues, you must contact us within 48 hours of the animal arriving home with you. Although we can't guarantee any live hatchling beyond the 48 hours, we will do our best to help you with any health or husbandry issues you may have.
You have complete responsibility for the animal from the moment the animal leaves our care. This is due to the fact that you are there and we are not, we have no control over the care and handling of the animal once it leaves our care.
Due to the potential fragile nature of hatchlings we cannot accept responsibility for heat stress, kinks, prolapses, respiratory infections or sudden death after you have verified a live and healthy arrival. We will only sell healthy animals' that have been thriving under our care for at least 3 months but it may often be longer and obviously we are wary to accept any responsibility for ill health out of the 48 hour period.
If you feel you have a legitimate claim for ill health then that animal will need to be taken to a vet which we both agree is experienced, to be checked over and determined cause of illness/death, all at your expense.
We expect that anyone purchasing one of our animals' has the experience and knowledge to be able to setup, feed and care for the animal to keep it in good health, we will provide care advice if needed as well as a care sheet and ask questions to potential owners. Although the hatchling will be feeding for us it may not feed for you due to a number of reasons but again we will help you as much as we possibly can.
We will do everything we can within reason to help you in the event of a health issue with one of our animals'. Our goal if at all possible, is to resolve any problems in a way we both are satisfied with.
